Aisling Bea
Aisling B a is born on 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born on March 16, 1984) is also known as Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea was first seen as bit roles on Irish or British television programs in 2009, began her career by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. From 2012 on she was in sitcoms and sketch comedy. In 2012, after she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured regularly in various panel programs. In 2016 and 2017 she was the team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012 she won the So You Believe You're Funny Award for the second time. Bea is her surname in honour of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian died at the age of three. He was an equine vet. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed before she reached the age of 13. Bea adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father and she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a former professional jockey. Her family were in love with racing meetings and horses. As a young girl, Bea employed as an assistant tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she wasn't attracted to the race industry for a profession, but instead was a performer.
